This is a gorgeous private island resort complete with many special touches. The suites are like small homes, very comfortable. Desroches is a 30 minute flight from Mahe so in a seriously remote spot. This makes for amazing diving and you can go bone fishing for a day as opposed to other places where you need to commit for a week. Desroches is a larger island resort but this works nicely to create a little atmosphere.

Four Season Desroches Island is located on Desroches Island, a 5 km long island with 14 km of beautiful beaches in the heart of the Amirantes, a group of islands which can be accessed by plane in less than one hour. The surrounding reefs offer superb diving, with 14 classified sites, and impressive fishing.
The hotel is situated directly on the beach surrounded by a tropical garden. The comfort of this unique resort guarantees a high level of exclusivity in a small world of its own. Four Season Desroches Island is also known as the most romantic hotel of the Seychelles, and this is not without good reason.
The tastefully furnished suites are divided into bedroom, living room, bathroom and veranda. They feature bath, shower, bidet, ceiling fan, air conditioning, telephone and mini-bar. The main restaurant faces the ocean and offers Creole cuisine and seafood. The lodge also includes a beach restaurant, swimming pool, and lounge with satellite TV and video channel, boutique and library.
Guests enjoy complimentary use of the tennis courts (floodlit at extra cost), snorkeling equipment, pedalos, canoes, windsurfing and sailing. Scuba diving (the professional diving base offers a PADI diving instruction course for guests), cruises, trips to the neighboring islands, bicycle hire and snorkeling excursions are optional extras.
