Duma Tau is one of our favorite camps in the Linyanti area! in dry season this part of Botswana just explodes with wildlife. The camp is being rebuilt as a premier luxury camp and we are excited to see the new style in 2020!

Brand-new Duma Tau’s extensive lagoon frontage ensures that each ultra-spacious 142 square meter guest suite has uninterrupted views over Osprey Lagoon, and the movements of the mega-herds of elephant the Linyanti is so famous for.
All seven twin tents and one family unit have a private plunge pool and a comfortable lounge, and feature a large bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. The main dining and lounge area boasts its own wide-angle vistas overlooking the wildlife-rich lagoon, while a new wellness center and gym – shared with Little Duma Tau – includes an inviting shaded deck, a lap pool, spa, snack deli and trading store. Duma Tau runs on 100% solar energy.
Activities are diverse and allow guests time on the water, on land and occasionally on foot. Day and night game drives are conducted in open 4x4 vehicles along the Savuti Channel and the banks of the Linyanti River. There are many hides in the area where guests can enjoy wildlife viewing close up. The area is famous for herds of elephants (especially during the winter months), lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, impala, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, and lechwe.
