Periwinkle is a really welcoming little property with a great location. Most rooms have gorgeous sea views. It is one of our favorites in Plettenberg.

Plettenberg is perhaps the most picturesque of the beach towns along the famed Cape Garden Route and the Periwinkle Lodge is a perfect stop.
Periwinkle Lodge is a stylish and beautifully decorated guesthouse, a stones throw from Robberg Beach, with spectacular views of the sea and mountains. All seven spacious rooms are en-suite with balconies, television and telephone, bar fridge, hairdryer, heated towel rail and tea trays. They are stylishly decorated to reflect the natural neauty of the coastal setting and the deep turquoise waters of the ocean vistas. From the private balconies guests can take in the panoramic views of the Robberg Peninsula and Tsitskamma Mountains. Enjoy whale watching in season over a delicious breakfast. Stroll along the stunning beaches of Plettenberg Bay, or explore the Garden Route and surrounds.
Plettenberg Bay is the top destination for boat-based whale and dolphin watching. Due to the large number of whale and dolphin species found in the bay (five whale and three dolphin species), the Center for Dolphin Studies is located in Plettenberg Bay. Three species of whale can be seen throughout the year. You will have to check out Mangos favorite restaurant in Plettenberg, Cornuttis. It is a simple pizza and pasta joint, but all the locals in town seem to be there at night. It is a very fun atmosphere.
