Nasikia presents Kaskaz Mara Camp, a short drive from Kogatende Airstrip and the exciting Mara River viewing area. The ten tented suites are superbly located to provide an indulgent base for optimal migration viewing all throughout the year. With large netted windows and draped roofing in each suite for Serengeti-style air conditioning, cotton curtains dancing on the breeze, oversized beds, indoor and outdoor furnishings of style, expansive floor space, great hardwood double vanities, hand carved decor with Swahili flair.

Coo!’ from the Mourning Dove outside as they flutter in the dew. ‘Snuffle! Splutter! Grunt! Honk!’ before the Splash! and Shake! from the Blue Wildebeest as they run the gauntlet of the Mara River. Explore the intriguing wilderness on foot with our in-house armed walking guide; follow the tracks, smell the herds on the breeze and hear the crunch of fauna underfoot.

The camp shares an array of meal options, from early morning bush breakfasts to leisurely in camp lunches in the shade to four course delectable dinners. A fireside Gin & Tonic is never amiss.

A mobile tented camp located in the Northern Serengeti, strategically located to cover the vast Serengeti Plains. The camp offers comfortable accommodation and a unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari camp experience. The camp is only a two hour scenic drive from Olduvai Gorge Museum and Grumeti River.

A cozy mess tent is located in the center of the camp where meals are served. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner. There are 10 tents with en suite facilities. All tents have king or twin beds. Each tent includes a shower, hand basin and flush toilet. Lighting is supplied by solar lights. Dining is inthe cozy mess tente or under the satrs. Guests cam realx by the camp fire for an after dinner cocktail. There is also a library tent that has some excellent reference materials and fun reading options.

There are several airstrips in the National Park that receive schedule flights from Arusha as well as charter flights. The wildllife highlight here is the famous great wildbeest migration. This is a is a dynamic process of herd animals following the rains and the grasses in a clockwise direction, crossing from the Maasai Mara into the Serengeti. These huge heards are not the only wildlife to see however, there are abundant other types of wildlife, including myriad big cats that are drawn to the promise of easy hunting.
