Musekese Camp is perched on the edge of a spectacular lagoon hidden away from the outside world. The camp has made a name for itself with expert guiding, exceptional food, and phenomenal wildlife viewing. Explore this game-rich area by vehicle, foot, or boat along the emerald green Kafue River.

With just 5 guest rooms and a team of experienced guides, activities are taken at your pace and interest. Rooms at Musekese Camp are spacious and comfortable with all the necessities. This includes en-suite flushing toilets and on-demand hot water showers. All power requirements are drawn from a well configured solar set up and the main area has plenty of surplus power 24/7 to keep all your devices fully charged and drinks ice cold.

The wildlife viewing in and around Musekese is exceptional. Game numbers and the quality of sightings have improved year upon year thanks to increased protection and concerted habituation the team. All the major predators are present, with leopard and lion very well represented. Elephant herds are always visible in the dry season months and the plains game is as numerous as it is varied from sable and hartebeest to zebra and puku (puku in their thousands!). Birding is top-class, with hundreds of species recorded in and around the Musekese area.

Kutali Camp is located under a stunningly cool Winterthorn forest on the secluded Kulefu Island in the remote eastern sector of the Lower Zambezi National Park. This is a gorgeous location combined with a great variety of safari activities with some of the best guides in the region.

Kutali is a comfortable tented camp with everything a safari-goer could need from a true seasonal bush-camp. The camp has only 5 guest tents, allowing for no more than 10 people in camp at once; and each tent is located with amazing views across the Zambezi River. The tents are the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery or rest for a full day of safari activities. The main area of camp area rests under the Winterthorn trees, so never miss a moment to enjoy this incredible camp.

With the broadest possible spectrum of activities on offer, the Lower Zambezi is ideal for each and every person. Go on a walking or canoe based safari, or go on a night or day time safari with a high-caliber guide. During the day spot leopard and wild dog, while at night spot the honey badger and aardvark. There is an abundance of wildlife in the Lower Zambezi for everyone to enjoy.

Chula Island Camp is located on Katengahumba Island, separated from the mainland by the famed canoeing area, the ‘Discovery’ channel. This secretive and private Island gives unparalleled views over the Zambezi River. The wilderness experience and wildlife viewing are second to none.

Chula Island Camp is a stunning tented camp with all the luxuries one could wish for, but with the charm and ethos of a true seasonal bush-camp. With just 5 guest tents, catering for no more than 10 people in camp at once - each tent is carefully and expertly located for the best possible views across the Zambezi River. The Chula tents are bespoke and very comfortable, with high quality linen and mattresses, alongside flushing toilets, running water taps and traditional bucket-showers! A main area stretch-canvas tent is set beneath massive Natal Mahogany trees makes for an exceptional location for meals, reading, charging cameras and wildlife watching.

Simply put, the Lower Zambezi has some of the finest big game wildlife viewing in Africa. This, coupled with the variety of safari activities on offer and the aesthetics of this park, make for a truly fantastic wildlife spectacle. High densities of elephant gather on the valley floor as the dry season commences, along with large herds of buffalo and impala. In attendance are all of the large predators one might expect, with lion, leopard and wild dog very well represented here.

Experience the glory of the Nile from the Molouky Dahabiya. The dahabiya boasts two decks, and six deluxe suites. Up top one the 2 decks, guests can experience the kaleidoscope of vistas passing by from the bar, jacuzzi, or the outdoor dining area. The main deck is home to each of the air conditioned suites along with the indoor dining area. Each of the suites have a personality of their own, for a unique and memorable stay.

Dahabiya sailboats are specific to Egypt, built in the 19th century to enable Pashas and wealthy Egyptian merchants to easily travel around the country. Later on, they were used by adventurer travelers, archaeologists, writers (including Mark Twain) and artists who wanted to explore the Nile.

The Molouky Dahabiya is only available on a private basis, to provide guests with an intimate and personalized journey along the Nile. The dahabiya stops each day so guests can visit the incredible archaeological sites found along the ancient river.
