This camp lies in one of the best wildlife areas of Hwange. The tents are lovely, airy and simple. The staff is delightful and will take care of every need.

Verney's Camp is situated in a remote southeastern part of the Hwange National Park, on a private concession that is not open to regular Park visitors. The camp is located on a large open floodplain surrounded by mopane and teak forests in which ten tents are tucked. This area is a beautiful amphitheater fringed by the forest that opens up onto an impressive waterhole that is a playground to the famous elephant herds of Hwange.
The tents are tucked perfectly under the shady arms of the teak trees bordering the open waterhole in front of camp. Each tent has been carefully positioned to ensure the best serenity and privacy so that guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The tents are comfortably appointed and each has en suite shower, flush toilet, double vanity, and fans, all beautifully designed to retain the authenticity and magical feeling of being on safari. Verney’s Camp has eight double/twin rooms and two family rooms, all of which sit on an elevated platform that provides sweeping views over the pan and waterholes. The camp features a refreshing pool with loungers, a bar, multiple dining areas and reading nooks.
Activities include day and night wildlife drives, walking safaris, amazing birding and a lovely cultural exchange with a local village.
