~ Mango Opinion
Entamanu Private is your private retreat overlooking Ngorongoro Crater. There is no truer way to appreciate the magnitude and wonder of the Ngorongoro Crater than from this private camp, a highland retreat designed to be entirely removable so that it minimally impacts the land of this precious place.
When you stay at Entamanu Private, you have the entire camp to yourself, which includes four timber, glass and stretched-canvas rooms, and two two-bedroom family rooms, all of which have views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Children over 5 years ofa ge are welcome. The generously sized rooms all have en-suite bathrooms with double basins and lovely hot and cold running water.
Having your own private camp means you get to experience the Ngorongoro Crater on your own terms. Located right on the rim, you have access to the Crater soon after dawn where you can see outstanding volumes of wildlife - from some of Africa’s last rhinoceros to flamingos to lovebirds. Highland walks are also available in the sparkling highland air, complete with a Maasai scout - showing you his particular version of the natural world - and an armed ranger to keep you safe. You can also visit your Maasai neighbors, who largely live a traditional life, grazing their cattle in the boma in the next valley. It will be just you and them, with insights into the pastoral life - from building huts to warrior ceremonies...highly recommended
