It is spread over a series of steep ridges and valleys that form a protective habitat for the mountain gorillas, the main attractions in this pristine jungle. Haven Lodge is also a community-owned establishment, which means that in addition to being the perfect option for immersive adventure, your stay will contribute to the development of the local community and sustainability efforts.
In this paradise, you will have a chance to unwind in a breathtaking, nature-filled experience. The rooms are designed and constructed out of green materials to reflect that eco-friendly jungle ambiance. Each is elevated off the ground to show off the mighty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest’s enchanting views, highlighting the life within the forest canopies. The naturalistic design places you in the center of the massive misty jungle’s night light. Each cottage is built with a natural elegance in mind, providing a quiet luxury. The main lodge hosts a lounge that contains well-cushioned wood-framed seating around coffee tables, a few stools, some books and games, and a cozy fireplace. Haven lodge features 9 cottages in total, each featuring a balcony and en-suite facilities with open-air showers.

Surrounded by the National Park and bordering the Kazinga channel, the lodge provides a unique setting for a remarkable safari experience. Simple, natural, close to nature pleasures are the essence of the lodge.The Bush Lodge is an excellent base for your safari activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area has a stunning biodiversity with open savannahs, dense papyrus swamps, crater lakes, forest and and a captivating gorge. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to 95 species of mammal and over 600 species of birds.
The lodge itself is built with ecological principles in mind and each of the Bandas are designed and spaced in such a way to maximize privacy and enhance the safari aspect of the lodge. In this truly unique setting, animals often roam in and out the camp. At night, the sounds of hippos and hyenas will accompany your star lit dinners. Bush Lodge provides a great, authentic outdoor safari atmosphere and a close to nature experience. The lodge consists of 12 self contained Bandas, spaciously placed among the indigenous bush. The rooms are built on a raised wooden platform and made from a fine combination of canvas and local materials. Huge mosquito netted windows allow a 180 degree view and immersive atmosphere. Each room has a private terrace overlooking the seasonal Kamera river. All Bandas have an ensuite bathroom with running water for your hand-basin, a flushing toilet and an outside shower with hot water and 2 shower heads.
