This is a lovely property and easily the most luxurious option in this area of the Serengeti. Located just outside the park in the Loliondo Controlled Area, guests get the added bonus of night game drives, guided walks and Masai village visits. The location can be perfect for viewing the annual wildebeest migration in October/November, but there is good resident game year round. Kleins makes a nice second stop in the Serengeti after you have spent a few days in tented camp. Kleins is very expensive. At this price, the Singita Grumeti Reserves properties are worth a serious look.

In a remote corner of the game-rich Serengeti National Park, a 24,700 acrea wildlife concession leased from Maasai landlords offers guests an exclusive, Tanzanian safari at Klein’s Camp. Perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, the camp commands breathtaking views down the valley that borders the Serengeti and the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy exclusive game viewing, thrilling night game drives, bush dining, Maasai culture and old-fashioned safari luxury.
Set in a landscape that is gentle yet rugged, this camp reflects the heart of this untamed land with a vintage safari style. The camp boasts 10 cottages and one family cottage with stone interiors of the guest areas open up to breathtaking panoramas, with open fireplaces to keep the chill away. Featuring a beautifully furnished bar and sitting area, stone floors and deep leather armchairs invite you to while away the hours. Boasting one of the finest views in Africa, spend afternoons on your personal verandah overlooking smoky views of distant hills. Browse in the beautiful Safari Shop that displaying locally-made Maasai crafts. Meals are served in the main dining area, or under the stars on the concession.
Activities include morning and afternoon game drives in open game viewing vehicles with Maasai trackers. The afternoon game drives, which continue after sunset with the aid of a spotlight, give the opportunity of meeting up with nocturnal predators. Afternoon guided walks along the quartzite hills allow one to marvel at the scenery while sipping sun downers at the crest of the hill before returning to the comforts of the camp.
