Totally hip, Le Touessrok has it dialed in. We must mention the stellar swimming pool, attentive service of the staff, the most fun golf course we have played to date! This is a brilliant honeymoon spot.
Our only complaints are the sand on the resort beach is not powder fine and the main buffet dinner does not match the quality of the rest of the resort. Eat at the a la carte restaurants for dinner and enjoy extremely expensive but fabulous meals.
The near-by Il au Cerfs more that makes up for this. The island has a lovely sand swimming beach and is open to all, so Mauritian families come to play as well. This is a nice opportunity to mix with some very friendly locals.
Located on the east side of the island, this resort has more wind coming off the ocean. This creates a lovely breeze in the hot weather months (January - March) but can be chilly during the winter (June - September).
