Ol Pejeta Conservancy has shockingly good wildlife viewing as well as a wide array of activities. This little camp is simple, well run and affordable. A good option for people on somewhat of a budget.

Kicheche Laikipia Camp is a small tented camp, nestled at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole, in the center of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is 90,000 acres of wilderness. The Conservancy is home to Kenyas largest population of Black Rhino, large numbers of elephant, cheetah, lion, leopard and plentiful plains game. There are also a number of rarer Northern species such as Grevys Zebra, Jacksons Hartebeest and Beisa Oryx.
The camp consists of six luxurious tents all custom designed and fully insect-proof with en-suite bathrooms equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and hot showers. There are comfortable chairs on each veranda overlooking the plains. There is a spacious well furnished lounge and dining tent, although guests and camp staff normally prefer to eat al fresco if weather permits.
Safari game-viewing activities include day game drives, night game drives which focus on nocturnal species not seen on regular day drives. Interpretative game walks are another activity permitted on the Conservancy and really offers guest another fun perspective to their safari. Guests can also visit the Morani Center and the chimpanzee sanctuary. For the more active visitors, canoeing, horse riding, mountain biking and bush walks are often possible.
