At La Croix du Sud there are a total of 32 different guest rooms, with several types to ensure guests have their ideal room. There are 11 standard rooms with a shower and terrace, 2 standard rooms with a shower and bath, 10 rooms with a balcony and 8 rooms with a bath, loft and private balcony. All of the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a tv with satellite channels a mini fridge and a telephone. Each bedroom also has a small alcove with a couch and chairs. There is a restaurant called Le Dauphin next door in a neighboring restaurant that guests are welcome to dine at. Laundry services, excursion organization and a small conference room are all available to guests with the help of the friendly hotel staff.
Fort Dauphin is a gorgeous location, with excellent hiking opportunities and some stunning panoramic views of the adjacent countryside! The area, commonly known as Taolanaro or "Place of dreams", is a town that truly deserves its title. There are stretches of idyllic white sand beaches that are lapped by the turquoise waters of the ocean on one side and a delicate fringe of palms and luch forest on the other. Dramatic, emerald green mountain peaks rise up behind the beaches, creating a breath-taking landscape that is ideal for unique for hiking and strolling along the beach. The forest harbors a fascinating array of wildlife, most notably lemurs, frogs, chameleons and birds.
