Tsara Komba is situated on Nosy Komba (the Lemur Island) on a golden beach surrounded by crystal clear waters. The hotel is tucked into the side of a hill in the heart of a breath-taking tropical botanical garden. Here, the atmosphere could best be described as “life in the slow lane”. Experience the gentle caress of the wind, the birdsongs and the sound of the waves lapping around this former volcano today covered by an abundant forest, bordered by a sapphire blue sea with excellent sandy beaches.
Tsara Komba has eight tastefully decorated lodges in traditional Malagasy wood. There are six ocean view lodges and two ocean view suites, which have an extra lounge leading onto the veranda. All the lodges have en-suite bathrooms - showers only, king size beds (with mosquito nets), large verandas (dinner and breakfast can be served there) and magnificent sea views. The panoramic restaurant "Les Flibustiers" specializes in local cuisine and this hotel prides itself in the food it serves. Tsara Komba offers a great selection of wines and spirits.
To get to Nosy Komba you leave Nosy Be's Hellville harbour by speedboat which takes 30 minutes. On the island of Nosy Komba, all of your journeys will be on foot, by pirogue (dugout canoe) or by boat as you appreciate the relaxed pace of life of a bygone age. Activities include walking on Nosy Komba, visit the lemur sanctuary, scuba diving, canoeing, sailing, fishing and excursions to Nosy Be.
